Working principal of planetary ball mill:
The grinding sample is comminuted by high-energy impacts from grinding balls and friction between balls and the grinding jar wall. Minimum granularity of the final product can be as small as 0.1 micron.

Standard Accessories of Lab Planetary Ball Mill
Please note: For this DECO mill, you require two or four grinding jars and the corresponding number of grinding balls. The grinding jar material must be harder than the material to be ground. In normal cases, the same material of grinding balls and jars are used. To shorten the grinding time, larger or heavier grinding jars and grinding balls with a higher density can be used.
And, the standard package of the mill doesn't include the grinding jars or balls. They must be ordered as accessories.
Package: plastic wrapping, styrofoam and standard export carton.
GW: 40KG
Pack dimension: 610*370*370mm
1. What is the smallest particle size the Planetary ball mill can mill down to?
The smallest particle size our mill can mill down to is 0.1µm. However, the final fineness varies greatly with different materials. The actual grinding result depends on mill speed, ball size, material, and grinding time. You will be able to find the best combination after a couple of tries.
